Itinerary

Arrival Transfer from Rafael Nuñez International Airport to your hotel. 

09:00 am. Assistance at the hotel by the guide to starting the panoramic tour through the modern city, bordering one of the most beautiful bays in America (Cartagena Bay), the tour of the Manga neighbourhood, where you can see Republican-style houses. Then visit the Candelaria convent on Cerro de la Popa, one of the highest in the city. Visit the monument to old shoes and the Fort (Castillo) San Felipe de Barajas, one of the most important historical military fortifications in the city. Continuation to the Vaults, to shop and finally walk through the walled town strolling through its main streets and squares. Back to the hotel.

Note: In case the Cerro de la Popa is closed, the Church of San Pedro Claver will be visited.

Duration: 3-4 hrs.

60 minutes by boat from Cartagena, inside the Corales del Rosario Park is located ISLA DEL ENCANTO a private island with approx. 300 meters of beach where the sun, sand, and sea are your allies to enjoy your holiday intensely. Isla del Encanto is the place where service and relax combine to give you a full experience.

The tour includes:

– Transfer Hotel – Pier – Hotel

– Transfer by speedboat Cartagena – Isla – Cartagena (shared service)

– Typical lunch

Departure taxes are not included and must be paid directly at the pier.

Schedule: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Flight from Cartagena to Medellin. 

According to the number of people you will have a driver guide or just a guide to start the visit to El Poblado Park, where the Regional Avenue will be taken, the guide will indicate one of the most important buildings in the city, the Bancolombia Building.

Visit to the Pueblito Paisa which is one of the places that could not miss in this tour, there will be a stop of 30 minutes for enjoy the panorama and visit the artisan market that the place offers. After this stop, you will move to the Pies Descalzos park, crossing Plaza Mayor and the Alpujarra Administrative Center. Then visit around the Botero square and the Bolivar Park, continuing to the Deseos park where the last stop will be made and you will receive snacks and then observe the Planetarium, the University of Antioquia (Alma Máter) , Concha Acústica, Music House, Explora Park and the Botanical Garden (entrance fee is not included).

Duration of approximately 10 hours. The tour starts from the city of Medellín, going through the municipality of Peñol until reaching Guatapé. You can enjoy the view of the reservoir that provides 30% of the energy of Colombia and has an extension of 64 km2. You have the option to practice water sports, which are not included in the tour. Visit the the Rock of Guatapé which is approximately 220 meters high, and as optional with additional cost you can climb 649 ladders until reach to the viewpoint, from where you will enjoy a 360 degree view of the Guatapé reservoir and its neighboring lands. Inside the municipality of Guatapé will have a tour guided by the streets, where a specialized guide will inform the tourist about the history of typical houses and the culture.

Assistance by the english speaking guide to start the panoramic tour through the historic center, looking at the Colon Theater, San Carlos Palace, San Ignacio Church, Nariño Presidential Palace, Bolivar Square, the Capitol, the City Hall and the Cathedral. Visit to the Gold Museum. Continue with the transfer to Monserrate. The hill of Cerro de Monserrate rises over downtown Bogotá, dominating the skyline of Colombia‘s capital. A church high up on the mountain is one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions, while taking in the view from the summit is a must-do tourist activity.

 You can take cable car or Funicular to the top. There you can visit the El señor Caido Basilic (the Fallen Lord), Craft stores, and where you can enjoy a beautifull lookout of the city.

Monday: Gold Museum is closed. is replaced by the Botero exhibition.

Sunday: Monserrate is not included. It is replaced by the “Quinta de Bolívar” or Botero Museum.

09:00 hrs. Departure from the hotel to the Municipality of Zipaquirá, located 49 km north of Bogotá. On the way, you will be able to see some places of interest such as the Sabana de Bogotá and the Puente del Común. Arrival to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, considered the first wonder of Colombia, built in a mine at 190 mts deep and considered the first wonder of Colombia, in its interior you will visit the Deambulatorio or Viacrucis, The Dome, The Ramp, The Choir, The Balconies, The Narthex Complex and the big naves of the Cathedral. At the end, you will have a panoramic tour to the town of Zipaquirá. Return to Bogotá or connection with another activity

  • As of May 1, 2022, visitors to Colombia ages 18 or older must provide proof of complete vaccination for entry or a negative COVID test (48 hours in advance of travel for an antigen test or 72 hours in advance of travel for a PCR test). Travelers should be prepared to show their original, physical vaccination card or digital certificate both at airline check-in and when passing through Colombian Immigration. The vaccination document must include the individual’s full name, date of vaccination, name of the vaccine administered, and the number of doses administered. A photo of one’s vaccination card may not be accepted. If you completed your vaccination scheme within 14 days before entry to Colombia you will also need to have an antigen test 48 hours prior to arrival or a PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival in Colombia.  
  • Travelers must complete Migración Colombia’s online Check-Mig form   within 72 hours of boarding an inbound or outbound flight from Colombia.

For US Passport Holders,  Entry to Colombia requires a valid passport (booklet, not card) with at least six months of validity beyond your return date.
